Alpharetta, GA (May 12, 2025) – A crash that occurred just after 8:00 a.m. on I-85 Northbound past Senoia Road (Exit 61) caused lane closures and major delays during Monday morning’s commute.
According to WSB-TV and Georgia DOT traffic footage, the left lane was blocked as emergency crews responded to the scene. At this time, there has been no confirmation on injuries or when the blocked lane is expected to reopen. Drivers in the area were advised to use caution and expect extended delays as cleanup continued.
Though the crash occurred just outside the immediate Alpharetta area, many local commuters use I-85 daily and may have been affected.
